The Southern Nevada Pistol and Revolver Association has been in existence since 1970 when we began holding PPC matches for various police agencies throughout Nevada. We've held various types of matches over the years since then. ICORE www.icore.org/ has captured everyone's heart and our club is over 40 members strong!
ICORE www.icore.org/ stands for International Confederation of Revolver Enthusiasts. This is an action pistol event. You should have a safe holster that covers the trigger guard. You will need at least 5 speed loaders. At www.icore.org/ you can get more details as to rules, types of stages, etc.
There is room for open division revolvers - any revolver with a compensator or optic sights, heavy barrel (PPC type) - and limited division - essentially a factory gun with allowed modifications, trigger work, moon clip conversions, bobbed hammer, no barrel replacements (factory only).
Shooters are classified after shooting the required number of matches (4) so you will wind up shooting against folks at the same skill level as you are. Come on out and have fun with "real" guns! Our membership is diverse and friendly. Hope to see you!
